Here's pics of the cool loot [livejournal.com profile] krile and I snagged from the two DQIX events we went to!

First, the front of the DQ shirt that actually fits me! You'd better believe that I wear this whenever I can.

Back of the shirt, the DQIX logo. Both shirts have this.

The second shirt, which sadly they only had in small by the time we got there. Still, [livejournal.com profile] krile can strut around in it, so it's not so bad.

Next, an epic poster that I put up soon after receiving it. Adds a touch of class to the dining room area.

Finally, stickers! One's already been used, can you guess what it was???

All in all, some really neat stuff they were giving away. Seems like they're getting serious about DQ! (finally...)

Hey there~ We were just talking in the saga community, and I happened to look at your profile and noticed we have a LOT in common, any chance you want to be friends? ^^

Also love the music for Bubble Bobble & Soul Blaizer, used to watch my bros play the Dragon Quest games, Wild Arms, Ogre Battle, Tactics Ogre, Secret of Mana, all the Megamans, loved Okami, TWENTY & Lunar etc... ;)

Yeah, so we've got a lot in common, for sure! I'm addicted to RPGs, both popular and obscure, among other things. I've actually run out of space on LJ's interest list, I would add in other things, sadly.

... And now I need to listen to Soul Blazer music, suddenly

I've run out of room as well haha. Recently I've been playing Rune Factory 2, and my brother got me Grim Grimore! My other bro is playing my copy of La Pucelle Tactics! Do you like Legend of Mana, or the Chrono & Breath of Fire series at all? :)

Oh yeah, I love Legend of Mana, and basically all of the Mana games in general. I've been playing a 3-player game of Seiken Densetsu 3 lately, which came right after beating Secret of Mana again on the Virtual Console.

Chrono Trigger is an absolute classic, love it, along with Chrono Cross. And I've played every BoF game and liked them all, too!

I'm trying to finish up Rune Factory Frontier for Wii, myself. And I still need to beat GrimGrimoire... I have a pretty big backlog of games that need to be beaten xD;

Awesome!! Are you into manga at all? Legend of Mana has an awesome manga!!

Hah you even liked Dragon Quarter? :P

My friend is playing that atm, along with RF2 and DQIX! I would play it, but I don't have a Wii ;_;

The Legend of Mana manga is basically the best manga based on a videogame ever. MY CARTOONS!

I did like Dragon Quarter! I thought it was a pretty unique take on a BoF game, and had a lot of interesting aspects to it. Plus, Ryu finally talked for once! I'll admit that I wouldn't mind BoF 6, should they ever make one, being more of a traditional style. But I can always replay the older ones for that, too.

I'm addicted to DQIX right now, since I basically put everything else on hold whenever a new DQ game is released xD

hahah it's so good XD

Have you beaten DQ? I swear that game is good at pissing you off.. :[ I was upset there was not Deis or fishing in it haha.

Hopefully I will borrow it soon enough :D

That's probably the only disappointment I had in BoF5, that some of the classic elements that were in every other BoF game were missing. I've beaten the main game but still haven't quite gotten 100% accomplished, since you have to play through a few times to do that. But I did have to restart during my first playthough because I was stuck and used too much dragon power xD;

I missed Deis for sure, I still remember "messing up" when I played BoF3 for the first time and told her she looked better naked xD

DQIX is fun, even for people who haven't played the series. But it's a one save file per cartridge kind of a game (like Pokemon), so if you want to play it you might have to get your own.

Also I wish you had fairys working instead of ants, they were a tad creepy :(

HAHA that part of the game was so funny. I love BoF3!

Oh is it? Or I will have to wait till my friend is done with their quest completely :P

Oh yeah, I never did do that ants thing, really. I do miss the fairies too, except it was depressing when you sent them on missions and they died xD; I've gotta play my copy of the PSP version of BoF3 some more, loved that game.

If your friend invested as much time as I have in DQIX by now, they'd probably rather buy you a copy than erase their save, I've got 100+ hours logged @_@
