On being a bishy

You know, it's not easy being a bishy, let me tell you. I mean, you're constantly having people after you, approaching you and asking if they can glomp you. Well, after the first 30 or so of those a day, I just have to say ".... well, okaaaay." After all, you sort of expect that being a cute bishy and all.

I suppose it's our own fault, you know. I mean the hours we spend in the morning primping and styling our hair, not to mention picking out a cute outfit to accentuate our bishy features. Add the weekly manicures and pedicures and it adds up to a lot of hard work! Oh, the life of a bishy is a tough one, it's not for everyone. But it all pays off in the end.

Or so you would think! Do you even realize what people post about us bishies on the internet? It's bad enough that we're treated like pieces of meat by our adoring internet fangirls, but that's not enough! Their hunger does not end there. They insist on pairing up one bishy with another to create some.. delicious bishy sandwich! Bishies who normally would be far too busy getting tackle-glomped or spending time at the spa or being the guest of honor at a Wal-Mart opening, suddenly spend their time together in provocative poses with each other, or even worse! Just check out those doujinshis they sell about us on eBay (which, might I add, I've never seen a PENNY from!)

Now of course us bishies can appreciate each other's bishy looks, no doubt. And of course we'll occasionally kiss each other as signs of our mutual bishy respect for one another. And have you ever tried to use a bishy's butt as a pillow? It's delightfully soft! I'm honestly saddened that the general public has gotten the wrong idea about us. I should be able to accidentally fall asleep naked in a fellow bishy's bed without people getting "ideas".

But it's best not to dwell on the negative side of things, that's for sure. We bishies get all kinds of opportunities. We dominate the castings in animes and video games, we get paid top dollar and earn respect and admiration! It's the fans that keep us going, really.

In closing, I'd like to remind everyone that bishies are people too, and have feelings. Please ask nicely the next time you want to glomp one of us, and we'll be ever so grateful. Also, we *are* men, and we have needs too. A nice gift of some moisturizing body wash or a day of pampering at the local salon are always appreciated and will make the day of any bishy! Thank you for your understanding ♥
