Twenty-dollar cheeseburgers appear!
Aug. 11th, 2006 07:19 pmNew York is awesome but expensive. Their Toys R' Us has a FERRIS WHEEL in it. Which I rode on, of course.
The Nintendo World store had on display all the various Gameboys, the Famicom, and even poor old R.O.B. They had this thing set up where you could "talk" to "Mario" (it was some guy's Mario accent and Mario himself displayed on a big screen and walking around) which was amusing. I was trying to think up a question to torment the guy with but some little boy was doing a pretty good job of it himself.
Other than that we basically went around and looked in various shops (I was with two women, after all) and took in some of the sights. It was fun, I'd like to visit again provided I didn't have to rent a hotel room or pay for food there.
P.S. Raiden sucks at skateboarding.
