Bored ;o So much so that for fun I decided to hook up my laptop to my TV via my S-Video cable and play around. I'd done this before but didn't keep it that way long since I was busy with stuff on the computer at the time.

Anyway I found that playing videos fullscreen gave me no problems, in fact due to the TV's lower resolution the videos seemed clearer than on my computer. Even crappy .rm files looked great. I think I might begin to watch anime using this method. The only weird part is having to keep the laptop nearby because the sound still comes out of there. Still, I wear headphones when I watch anime anyway, so it's no huge deal.

I also tried out playing some roms on my TV. Worked great, especially for NES roms, which sort of look like crap on a high resolution computer screen. SNES ones worked fine as well, although ZSNES is kind of slow at 800x600 fullscreen. I could always set it lower. Anyway it's something fun to play around with, and it DOES have some pratical applications as well.

I've decided to pay for at least one month of RO. $12 a month is VERY high for a beta game IMO, especially since before it was $10 for three months so I hear, which sounds a LOT better. *shrugs* I want to at least get to Knight on my main character and experience a lag-free environment which hopefully has less idiots on as well. If I'm not sick of it by the end of June then I'll consider one of those multi-month plans. Truth is though, I'm broke and I still dont have a job so that's why I'm hesitating =x

Oh, and I watched the first episode of Chobits. Hilarious xDD. I KNEW somehow that I was going to like this anime. Anyway I'm going to force krile to download it when she gets back, because she'll like it too and we've both been anime-deprived lately.
