I checked in a guest today and on his card he put his city as "Shitsville, NC". I kid you not. Of course I didn't actually put this into the computer, I left it blank. Still, it was mildly amusing to say the least.

Then there's the French couple who didn't speak English too well. They checked in, and asked how to make an outside call. You have to press "9" and then wait for the 2nd dial tone before calling. Well, I guess they were calling long distance and pressed 9 followed by a couple of 1s.. and you can guess what happened. The police came and we explained it, no big deal. Still funny, especially when the woman turned bright red as she came out of the elevator and saw the police officer.

And all this is on SLOW nights. Well on busy ones we usually get rude guests, which are almost as fun. At least I can have fun at my job sometimes, guess I'm lucky.

Oh yes, funny names are always amusing xD Especially since it's last name first, then first name

"Green, Dick" was probably the one I had the most trouble keeping a straight face while checking in XD
