Wow, has it really been a week since I posted that? Anyway...

Following up with my first post on the subject, I'll toss out some questions to those planning on participating. Might as well make this thing work out as well as it can for us, right?

I'll be trying to get the word out about this thing a bit as time goes on. Remember, this won't start until summer, so there's still plenty of time to sign up. That means you, YES YOU READING THIS RIGHT NOW, can come have fun with us!

Okay, so originally I proposed this as a three games/one game per month during the summer deal. But I've been thinking, maybe it would work better if we did fewer games and gave ourselves more time with each one...? I really do want this to be as easy on everyone as possible.

That means we COULD do two games over a six-week span each, instead. That would give us more time per game and make it less troublesome on everyone, but we'd get one less game to play. What do you guys think?

In terms of what games we should play, I really, REALLY want to play Live A Live, so that's one game slot taken. The others are completely up in the air (to an extent), so if anyone has a game or two they think would fit well in this setup, I'm all ears. I might put up everyone's suggestions in a poll for us to vote on when the time comes.

Any other questions anyone else has, please feel free to add them here, too!

I'll probably be making the actual community for this thing soon enough, so you won't have to endure many more entries in my main journal about this... probably. It'd be easier on you to just succumb to temptation and join us anyway

It's like an 8-bit Resident Evil, fitting since it inspired the series. Even has the door opening scenes and everything! But it's also kind of like an RPG, so you fight monsters and gain EXP and all that. Very interesting combo.

There's a live-action movie based on it, too! I have yet to see it, though. I think I might after I finish the game.

Here's a screenshot I took from Sweet Home, showing off what gore 8-bit can muster up. The game does get pretty creepy, and I'm not sure if the 8-bit factor makes things easier to bear or that much more horrifying.
