Phantasy Star Portable for PSP falls into the category of "hey I wasn't expecting anything out of this game but it's fun". Especially since I was blanking on what kind of character I should make, so I let krile pick for me, and of course she picked a female CAST. But that makes the game all the more interesting, so good job!

Anyway I've only previously played about 15 minutes of one of the demos of the Phantasy Star Online series before so this is really the first time I've played this kind of Phantasy Star game. It's good, like I said, but I really wish they'd make another "classic-style" PS game sometime too. I also have to give respect to any MMORPG that includes an offline mode for those of us who love to create characters and run around as them but don't like the whole online part too much.

I'm pretty stoked because The 7th Saga Japanese Strategy Guide I ordered from Amazon.jp came in the mail finally. It has pretty awesome artwork I've never seen before, as well as a complete walkthrough of the game with maps and tips and all that good stuff. I'll see if I can get some of the pages scanned in for all three of the other fans in the universe out there!

Dude... I didn't even know there *was* an Elnard strategy guide. That's awesome. My guess is that they never made an American version; the walkthroughs in Nintendo Power are all I've ever seen. Maybe they wanted people to call the Enix hint line?

If you get a chance, I'd totally love to see some scans!
