So apparently I've been chosen to receive an award for "outstanding work" from the Spanish department of my college! I guess I'm doing something right. I really enjoy studying Spanish and my teachers are all awesome so doing well just kind of comes naturally with that.

Ironically, I'll probably be studying Japanese the whole weekend, but that's because I have a quiz! And it's harder! I think compared to Japanese, Spanish seems so easy that I don't take it as seriously, but I really do love both <3

ANYWAY, I have the weekend all to myself as krile is having some mother/daughter girly weekend away, doing who knows what. I probably shouldn't dare ask. This leaves me time to have a little "me" time. (read: play Metroid Prime 3 in my underwear)

Although I have DS games to play, I've been distracted by SNES ROMs lately. Most notably Arcana, a lovely little dungeon crawler with *gasp* a story, some interesting characters, and good music.



Rooks likes traps! Also Axs is dying.

I like Rooks' design for some reason, he's sort of the epitome of 90's badass RPG hero. With a hat.

Yeah well... it actually is a mistranslation, as her name is Sara in the Japanese version. Back in the day I thought it was kind of a unique name but now it's obvious that they just kind of messed up!

Thanks ^^ I love studying Spanish, all the cool kids speak it! But it is nice to have native speakers around so I can ask "does this make any sense?" and for practice, of course.

I am having fun being so-called "single" for a couple of nights, although I've mostly been doing boring around-the-house kinds of things. With the occasional gaming, but you know me!

Krile and I just recently watched the "Sanzo vs Kitten" episode of Reload, by the way XD It's gotta rank up there with some of the all-time funniest episodes for sure.

I love that episode, though it's been awhile I've watched it. The kitten there reminds me of a calico kitten I owned years ago, but mostly, I like it for making fun of Sanzo XD

I kept thinking that many fangirls wish they were that kitten, especially when she gets to cuddle with him in bed XD; In fact, there's a lot of Sanzo glamor shots of him laying in bed in this episode, come to think of it...

I also loved the different names everyone gave to the kitty, it fit all their personalities perfectly :3
