... or WAS it????
Okay anyway my brother ended up emailing me and demanding (not really) that I get him Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow and Mario & Luigi Partners in Time. He's having my dad get him Castlevania Double Pack and Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga too, so he has a couple of multi-part portable series to play. I haven't played Partners in Time but Castlevania DS wins so at least I don't mind getting that for him.
Except he magically emailed me back a couple days later saying "okay if you haven't spent TOO much on me I'd like you to buy me this copy of Thousand Arms on eBay~"
While it's true that I took our copy of Thousand Arms with me when I moved out, I obviously deserved to own it more. Yet, I'm a sucker for this game, so I caved in. It's okay, he'll owe me come my birthday. At least I figured out what to get him, although at this point I'm not sure if they'll all arrive by tomorrow. HE'LL LIVE, SOMEHOW.
Other than that I've just been playing more Suikoden V (although I'm kind of pissed because I can't get the "best" ending this time, I missed getting stupid Oboro which locks me out of getting like 345 other stars) and somehow, the Final Fantasy Legend series. Which, because it's vital to world peace that everyone know this, are actually the first three games in the SaGa series. So there. Anyway I'm doing all-monster party playthroughs of them and it's fun. These games are really nostalgic for me, I played them all the time in the middle of the wilderness in Mexico. HARDCORE RPG PLAYING.
