A secret shame

I really didn't want to admit this.. but, sadly, I've begun getting into playing Pokemon games again. I have avoided the whole mess for such a long time, but we had a vacation coming up and I thought it might be a good idea to buy a new GBA game to play during it. Somehow, through the work of the devil or some other dark force, I got it in my head that Pokemon was the answer.

.. and now I'm playing it and really enjoying it. Sapphire version, by the way. krile got Ruby. That's right, I'm dragging everyone down with me.

(yes, I know Emerald version is out and all that crap, but we wanted different versions to play and trade with)

Considering I was never into the card game and I haven't touched the feces known as the Pokemon anime in years, I suppose I'm not that bad off. I'm actually glad to be able to pick up a game and have it be just plain fun, without the game trying to have some huge, angsty storyline with love interests that are far from interesting, English voice acting from hell, and having a retarded fandom to worry about. Oh, I'm sure the Pokemon fandom is alive, kicking, and drooling, but I haven't touched it and don't plan to.

And of course I'm still playing Suiko4 as well. I got Ted. There... really isn't anything more to explain about that. Ted is pretty much.. Ted. Although he's conveniently using that Soul Eater excuse to not have any friends. Face it, pal, you're just unpopular. Going all Emo just to try to impress people into thinking you're interesting or something doesn't quite work. At least not for the next 150 years, and even then I think Tir just feels sorry for your ass xD

I'm beginning to like Jeane#4 the best, even though I like her look in 3 a bit better. She's just done so perfectly in this game. Being playable helps a lot too obviously. Viki is also the best thing ever, I was worried she'd have some stupid voice but it's done so well. The mermaids are really, really adorable as well xD Their attempts at writing in the comment box are gold. I have to say recruiting mermaids is a lot better than flying squirrels or dogs, for sure.

And... he confession room is the best thing in RPGs in forever. The end.
