I was sort of looking for a job in a half-assed manner ever since I moved up here, so when I heard this hotel was having an open house last Thursday, I figured I'd go, fill out an application, etc, no big deal, right? Well these people were apparently desperate, even moreso for a person with experience, so I was hired on the spot and started at 8 AM the next day x_X;;

Not a horribly bad thing, obviously, but just a bit unexpected. So for the last three days I've been training full-time, and it's hard to adjust from being lazy to being a productive member of society, you know? XD;; I was pretty nervous about it all at first, since this is kind of a fancy-type place and it's a new system and stuff, but I feel a lot more comfortable now (especially now that I get today and tomorrow off >=D)

ANYway, the biggest thing I miss is just hanging out online or playing games and stuff like that as much as I was, but oh well. Managed to finish off Suikoden I with the good ending, and imported it into Suiko2. Suiko2 is fun so far, it's a lot more like Suiko1 than I thought it would be, but it's also different. My fave characters are Nanami and Milly so far, no doubt. Nanami is FUCKING INSANE and when she gets pissed has the power to apparently kill anyone from what it appears (the true Pissed Off rune?) and Milly is cute and her skirt does this cute thing when she throws her boomerang <~3. Oh and of course, Viktor can magically survive and do anything he wants, because he is Viktor. And Flik still won't shut up about Odessa.

I suppose that's everything worth updating about at the moment~ so I'll go do something totally unproductive now to balance things out :D
