The snow had some weird texture to it... almost like sand. It was semi-solid and if you scooped your hand it, you broke it up into semi-solid chunks, just like certain kinds of sand do. I've never seen it like that. It would have been more fascinating if I wasn't digging my car out while discovering this, but oh well!
So I finally got around to (fully) beating Phoenix Wright. It's actually really hard to start a case back up again after months of not playing it, although luckily I remembered what was going on before too long. Naturally after finishing off the bonus case, I went out and snagged Justice for All.
Although, I think that's the last new game I'm going to get for quite a while. Besides Pokémon Diamond/Pearl. Yes, you heard me >:O
But yeah, seriously, I feel really guilty having all these unfinished games laying around (I know I've ranted about this before, but...), and the truth is, these are really awesome games which I should be playing. So I'm going to try and make a dent in that pile before shelling out moneys for more games.
Playing MGS: Portable Ops reminds me how utterly bad I am at this game for some reason. I think it's partly me not being used to the PSP's controls still (I actually almost never use the analog nub in all the other games I have) plus I keep going weeks in between playing sessions so I forget things. But, I shall persevere simply because I will do anything MGS3 Snake says. Yes, really.
Also playing some Breath of Fire III, PSP style. The ability to be able to play utterly classic PS1 RPGs on the go is still immensely awesome to me, criticism of ports on the PSP be damned. Sure, I'd like to see more original games too, but... BREATH OF FIRE III! I can't wait to get to the part where you train up that nerdy guy to win that battle for his lady's heart (hint: this is sarcasm because that is the worst thing ever okay. Well, that or Shisu. Or the desert. Actually, BOF3 had some pretty abysmal side-things in it. But fairy village makes all wounds heal)
I'm not planning on going anywhere special for spring break, but in some ways that's fine with me. Just chillin' at home and catching up on games sounds good.
Oh, and happy St. Patrick's Day and stuff. I couldn't find anything green to wear, but if this head full of red hair isn't Irish enough, then TOO BAD. I did get some lovely corned beef and cabbage to recharge myself for another 365 day cycle, at least~

Date: 2007-03-20 07:17 pm (UTC)¬¬ I can definitely relate to that, especially on those old YGO GBA games I bought 3 years ago. XD; I tried selling back my Dungeon Dice Monsters game but not even with all other combined I could get more than $3 out of them.
I haven't finished all the sidequests on Sapphire, like getting the Reggis, but when I get a chance I'm gonna pick up a copy of PKMN Leafgreen, AFTER I reserve PKMN Diamond.
Hope you and Krile been doing alright. ♥

Date: 2007-03-20 08:43 pm (UTC)Yeah I think you'll enjoy LeafGreen, it's a fun remake of the original games. Plus this's the only way to get these Pokemon so you can trade them to D/P when it comes out XD
Most used games you can't get a whole lot of money for, so I usually don't even bother xD Plus I like to keep them and build up my collection ♥

Date: 2007-03-21 07:02 pm (UTC)I never got around to playing PKMN Channel, but HYP was fun to play, XD even if you have to love it for PKMN dorkness.
I played the original PKMN Red in ROM format-- didn't play my first real PKMN game till Gold/Silver/Crystal on the GBC.
O_o; now that I thikn about it...I've beem going six years to college and I've gone through bringing 4 handhelds to schoo. When I started I brought my GBC, then 2 years later it was the GBA, a year later the GBSP and now the DS. *dork*
