Although I'm POOR, SO VERY POOR, I tracked down a copy of Megaman Legends to play, since ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
krile and I have been in a Megaman sort of mood after aquiring Megaman X Collection a while ago. I played this game a long time ago when it first came out, but it was technically my brother's, so I left it when I moved out. I've always really liked this game, so I definitely wanted to show it to Krile.
Unfortunately it took me THREE TRIES in order to get a decent copy. First stop was eBay, where I got a used but supposedly in decent condition copy. WRONG~! It was scratched to hell and the case was cracked. It wouldn't even load the Capcom logo, and every time I went into the menu it froze. Luckily the seller offered me a refund, so that's cool.
Second attempt was from a third-party seller on Amazon, which I usually have good luck with. This time though, the guy said it would arrive sometime before March 6th, and well, it never showed up. Contacted him and he said he was having problems with his supplier, offered me a chance to wait it out or a refund. REFUND'D.
I then tracked down a Greatest Hits copy at GameQuestDirect and had it shipped out pronto. It was brand new and sealed, and worked perfectly, so I'm happy (finally).
I usually have great luck when buying games online, too.. ah well. At least I can play it now. Still need to play more Grandia III as well. But forcing Megaman to be run over by cars and rummage around in garbage is very hard to get away from!
I've also been doing some major renovations to my music library.. tagging MP3s and such. I already added a lot of the cover arts to most of them thanks to Chudah's Corner, but a lot of the albums I've bought or downloaded have missing or incorrect information in them. I'm sure not everyone is as obsessive as I am with this kind of thing, but I collect game albums and I'm coming close to 40GB of music, just to point out my addiction XD Plus I've just now started adding lyrics and liner notes to songs, which are nice to take a look at on the ol' iPod, although I feel like I may never get done tagging them all..
Unfortunately (or more likely, fortunately), I'm at work now so I can't obsess over anything right now xD But getting to browse the internet and IM people while getting paid for it is very satisfying ♥
