Well today was the first day of school for me. Sure, my class is only an hour and 45 minutes long, but I also had to get up at 7 AM. Which for me is not easy, nor is it fun. Anyway like most first days it was nothing big, in fact half the class wasn't even there and most of us (including me) didn't even have the book for the class yet. The teacher (who is extremely gay, it's not even funny) basically blabbed about how we would be learning math that wouldn't have any practical use in real life. Thank you! (this class is precalculus algebra, by the way. And I HATE math)
Then I got to stand in line for the bookstore for what seemed like about two weeks to get my books. They had all the ones I needed except one. And that class doesn't start till October anyway (don't ask me why, I have no idea but I am NOT complaining ^_~) so no big deal.
To top it off I have to work today as well. Of course I'm going to be working and going to school from now on, but I was supposed to have today off originally, and no one likes working on a day they were planning to spend in their underwear playing the game that still hasn't shipped yet (Breath of Fire V) somehow. It's only three hours but still, ick.
The one good thing about my job in particular is that I work nights, and nights are, to put it mildly, dead. This means I can do my homework at work (getting paid to do your homework? ownage.), thus freeing up my free time so I can be.. free. Apparently I could even bring in my laptop and hook it up to the internet there (dialup, but that's not so bad) in order to type stuff up or work on my internet courses. So I'm lucky in that sense. Still, I'd rather be at home. But need money ;_;
I do have friday completely and totally off (no work or school), but it's hard to enjoy one single day off like that when you know you'll just go back to everything the next day @_@;;
