In the year 200X...
The 3rd of this month marks six years that
krile and I have known each other.
Of course we decided to celebrate a little, and get each other gifts!
What did we give each other, you ask? I thought everyone knew that the 6th anniversary was the Megaman Anniversary!
Yes, we bought copies of Megaman Star Force for each other. I got Dragon version (because, you know, RAAR DRAGINS) and she got Pegasus (pretty wings!!1)
Nobody likes the Leo version, because... I mean, just think about it. Doesn't it automatically sound like the lamest version?
But anyway, yes, we decided on a whim to do this for who knows what reason. We kept talking about how there's ANOTHER Megaman series coming out? Forget THAT. And yet... here we are. We're such whores for Megaman games. Perhaps once we get a chance to play it more I'll post some wackyness about it.
It might sound like the most anti-romantic thing ever, but hey... we play the game together and help each other out! I'm reminded of how lucky I am because I was talking to some guy at school and he was complaining about how his girlfriend made fun of him for playing video games and has no interest in them, and yet mine encourages it and plays along with me! I guess it's easy to forget that there are girls like that when you happen to hang around a lot of gamer girls.
Speaking of which, school started for me finally on the 4th. I'm sooo rusty in my Japanese verbs T_T Most of what I learned and studied over the summer was vocab, so... but at least my Spanish is in top form 8-) Having no A/C in the modern languages building (oh ALL my classes happen to be there? Yay!) doesn't help matters, either. I'll start babbling in languages I don't even know if my brain melts~

Duh, there obviously needs to be more gamer girls like me around~

Yeah I'm pretty sure we'll have to go down this road alone XD It's okay, you and I make the best BROTHABAND eva~! It's cool that being online together at the same time actually helps you out in this game. It'd be a hassle and lame to try and do that with someone over WiFi and just play the game normally, ignoring each other xD
When a girl can go from doing some completely girly activity to picking up some awesome game to play without skipping a beat, that's the best thing ever XD

I don't know alot of girls who play video games, they all think it's for boys or kids. You're lucky you found a girl who likes to play games, not alot of guys get that lucky.XD;

It's unfortunate that some girl gamers don't get to hang out with other like-minded girls, growing up all my male friends played games and it helped me make new friends and have common interests with other guys. Even now, usually if I get to know some guy at work or school, it's likely that he at least plays some kind of games occasionally.

Yup, that's true. One of the downsides of being a girl gamer these days, I have friends who have similar interests as me at home but mostly they are all animanga fans mainly. I have a friend who doesn't like to play RPG based games just because she doesn't like blood (but she reads Bleach, anyway.). Though, I have a friend who I've been playing P3 with atleast.

Is there really that much blood in RPG games..? I mean, compared to other genres. None of the 8-bit/16-bit RPGs had any really, and even PS1 and PS2 RPGs haven't had excessive blood or violence in them at all mostly (Well, P3's an exception to that). I could understand her not wanting to play fighting games or GTA or something due to that, but RPGs? I guess they could be considered violent compared to Nintendogs or Tetris or something? XD

I guess some people just don't react well to any sort of violence, but like you said, maybe she's just too lazy to level up or something xD;
