Name a fandom and I'll give you some unpopular opinions about it.
I should note that probably all of my opinions are unpopular so this will just be me rambling about things. I think most of my interests are on my userinfo page, although I don't list a lot of anime on there for some reason. Not enough room, really.

Note that I really, REALLY have no idea what constitutes popular or unpopular in MGS fandom at all.
1. I think Eva is pretty awesome.
2. The sidescrolling parts of Snake's Revenge are actually kind of neat to play through.
3. Like
4. I LIKE RAIDEN. A LOT.
5. Since I'm a BIG BAD STRAIGHT MALE GAMER, I suppose it's unpopular for me to completely support/approve of Snake/Otacon.
6. I like the Nintendo toys in Otacon's desk area from Twin Snakes.
7. From what I remember, Portable Ops wasn't THAT difficult to control, but yeah that second analog stick would've made all the difference in the world.
8. I can't actually remember a lot of the specifics of MGS4, but I think there were some parts I genuinely enjoyed. Mostly gameplay or easter egg related, but even then... okay it's impossible to comment on MGS4 without a million caveats involved so let's stop here.
9. But while we're on the subject, I would've been much more attracted to the BB Corps ladies if they'd been real characters instead of random doomed supermodels, among other things.
10. (Headcanon) The NES Metal Gear instruction manual storylines are actually rough drafts of scripts Otacon has penned for his fan-made games based on Snake's exploits. Names changed to protect the innocent, and all that.

1. I actually do not like Dias at all. I think his character drags down Rena's, and despite being the badass he claims to be, he's terrible in battle. Oh, and as far as bishounen go, he's not even my type :3
2. As far as I'm concerned, Leon ends up living with Opera in her futuristic apartment as her live-in slave for all eternity. At least, that's the ending I always got for them and how I interpreted it.
3. The voice acting in the original English PS1 release is the greatest creative work of mankind. We just don't realize it yet.
4. Claude is actually a complete idiot. Complete and utter. I'm not saying I dislike him or anything, quite the opposite. But let's just say he can't even manage to spell "8008135" on a calculator for fun because he doesn't know what they are, or how to operate a calculator.
5. I like a lot of things about the PSP remake, but I miss the rotating items from the PS1 version a lot.
6. I choose Precis over Bowman, and I tend to favor Opera (and/or Ernest) over Ashton. Except I really do love Ashton, too.
7. Noel is complete and utter trash on all levels. I usually don't completely, irrationally hate characters in games, but he is the inventor of cancer and I hate his choices in magazines.
8. The PA involving Celine, Rena, and the pheremones in Fun City is canon because I think it was the first even vaguely lesbian scene in a game I had played at that point (plus it'd be hot)
9. SO2 is the best Star Ocean game, but I don't think it's that much more amazing than the others overall. If anything, it just has less annoyances and a world map, which bumps it up a few notches compared to the others.
10. I'm just going to throw in yet another desire to play Blue Sphere, and that most of the outfits are great in that game, except Celine's.

6. FUCK YEAH I LOVE PRECIS.
9. hahahaha this

BLOODY MARY
And Precis has a PS1 controller in the original and a PSP in the remake. I'm sorry but Bowman (who I think smells like weed constantly) cannot compete with this.

1. Ramza's ass is both the treasure Balthier is searching for in the PSP version, and the genesis of all mankind.
2. Ramza has an incredibly, unfathomably small penis.
3. Agrias is so gay for Ovelia it isn't even funny.
4. Archers are NOT useless, my all-archer playthrough as taught me this. They're just kind of ho-hum in the end compared to the overpowered classes.
5. Delita is pretty much a dick, even if his actions had purpose and all that crap. I still don't like him.
6. The PS1 translation will forever live on in my heart. This was the darkened items won't appear.
7. FFTA: This commercial is canon.
8. FFTA: People who purposefully kill off Montblanc need to go see a therapist.
9. FFTA: There's a doujinshi with pictures of Marche getting bangaa'd as well as a pic of Ritz/Shara in a bathtub together. These are also canon.
10. I ship Balthier/Ramza and Ritz/Marche so hard. So hard.

1. I wonder what would have happened if Cloud had taken Ramza with him somehow. The world if Ivalice would implode upon itself from the absence of such a valuable item.
2. All the power went to his trunk.
3. And I just learned the word 'bestbians' from you.
4. Bro tried to go with an all archer team and he was enjoying it. Then I think he misplaced the memory card (which is why he has mine right now).
5. He's so fun to hate!
6. I still deny the re-translated names. IT IS ALGUS. ALGUS FOREVER.
7. /calls for Mewt
8. Even if it's not permanent, I purposely kill off Ritz and Shara in the combined fights for exp.... |D;;;;;
9/10. I kind of wanted to see more tension between Llednar and Marche. :|a Also, Luso/Marche and Ramza/Luso would be pretty cute, but yeah, Balthier/Ramza would have made the game super special awesome.

We call baby carrots "Ramza-sized" around these parts, if you catch my drift. ALSO YES, BESTBIANS. We need a male equivalent for this.
There's no shame in hoarding EXP, as long as it doesn't, you know, cause untold grief. But some people hate Montblanc for some reason? Or think he sucks in battle? He was always pretty reliable for me.
LLEDNAR TWEM more like XES TTUB also I will accept Luso paired with anyone as long as he is dressed like Strawberry Shortcake. Marche can be Rainbow Brite, and Ramza... well, some other 80s girls show character. Help me out here.
no subject
...I'll have to consult my fellow fangirls on that one and get back to you when we find the male equivalent.
;n; Montblanc was my bro. That is sad.
Strawberry Shortcake Luso, Rainbow Brite Marche and I guess Ramza can be... uh... She-Ra?

... I'm sure we'll think of them again eventually. Or think of even better stuff instead!
Now I'm reminded of the Ramza, Balthier, and milk idea, but that wasn't specifically stated to have to be drawnno subject

1. Characters like Trixie, Gilda, et al. are not really all that interesting. I would love to see them come back and get more development to warrant all this fan attention, but as it stands, they're... one-trick ponies. That are kind of dicks.
2. In general, I do not expect or want Hasbro to cater specifically to bronies, at least when it comes to the show itself. A few subtle nods would be fine, but I think part of the show's charm is that it is, in fact, a show for little girls. That just so happens to be awesome as hell. However, more accurate toys and better merchandise overall would be beneficial for all the fans involved.
Stuff like "Equestria Girls" and the "Bridlemaids" billboard are VERY okay because it's just communicating MLP's amazingness to the entire world and probably makes little girls feel badass, along with bronies.
3. Speaking of toys, I don't mind the essentially "palette-swapped" ponies because that's apparently been a part of the MLP toy line since forever. That we're getting those instead of quality versions of the main cast is really the problem.
4. I do not mind any of the fanart and other fandom-y things that have been produced, except when it goes into "creepy as fuck" territory. I suppose this would go for any fandom, but the fact that so-called fans of the show would want to kill, maim, or otherwise harm the ponies is just plain wrong, I'm sorry. Even moreso than in other fandoms, due to the subject matter. Ponies sexing each other up at least falls somewhat under the "friendship" category.
5. G3/3.5 horror aside, there are some redeeming qualities to be found in pre-G4 MLP. That Midnight Castle movie is actually not bad at all for a kid's thing, plus it's deliciously 80s.
6. "Princess Trollestia" is so very, very canon.
7. I actually liked the name "Kentucky Derpy" better than "Derpy Hooves". But I'm just a pun-lover in general.
8. The Cutie Mark Crusaders are not as terrible as some fans make them out to be. I think they should be used sparingly, and I'd like to see episodes where they're apart and hanging with the other main cast ponies, but they are not inherently bad because they are "kids".
9. As a follow-up to that, there are no bad ponies or characters among the main cast. It's okay to have favorites, though.
10. Semi-followup to #4, I don't think anyone should be embarrassed about shipping ponies or indulging in any of the usual fandom things, even if it's, well, you know, about MLP. I really would like some effort put forth to keep that sort of thing away from the "target audience" if it's adult in nature, though.

1. Gwendolyn/Oswald is a special het pairing that even completely obsessed yaoi fangirls and people who have never even played video games like. It has magical qualities.
2. These magical qualities come from their "outside bed", among other things.
3. I also ship Gwyn/Velvet oh god I don't even care how wrong that is
4. Those err... Pooka things? They're not really that bad/annoying. I didn't enjoy playing as one that much, but still.
5. My favorite characters are those carrot things that pop out of the ground because HOLY SHIT POTION TIME
Skies of Arcadia:
1. Vyse/Aika is where it's at, baby.
2. That being said, Aika/Fina and Vyse/Aika/Fina is nothing I have a problem with at all.
3. Cupil changes into some very odd shapes per Fina's request when she's lonely, if you catch my drift.
4. The Gamecube version's the only version I have played, so I don't have any of that Dreamcast cred to wave around.
5. I know this game is probably overrated but it's one of those things I overlook because I think RPGs need to be more like this in general. It's not the best game I've ever played but it made me happy as hell while I was playing it.
no subject
Oh, do! Armageddon is fun to play as it is soul-crushing. :D
1. ~magic~ For some reason I can't jump onto the Gwen/Os train though, idk, it just doesn't grab me.
4. I love the Pookas so much. :( Cornelius' book is my favorite.
5. SHIT YEAH MANDRAGORAS. it always baffled me that they had some in the Netherworld, even if it was the poisonous one.
SoA:
3. oh
4. this reminds me i should buy a dreamcast copy of this game, cause i have an old system laying upstairs :|a
5. THIS. Very rarely do I play an RPG where I actually have fun the whole way through, and that is seriously sad.
no subject
Also yes, I have very terrible thoughts when playing SoA, I blame the fact that it's so amazing that I have to corrupt it. Also when I first found out about it the GC version hadn't even been announced and I had no DC, so I made up things about the characters before even "knowing" them. They stuck.
no subject
HAHAHAHAH ME TOO. I did that for Odin Sphere actually. :'D
