WHERE THE HELL ARE MY SUPER FIGHTING ROBOTS? First we don't get flying cars, now this. I guess Dr. Light technically has a few hours to get his shit together, but...

Anyway, Happy New Year! Let's go into TWENTYTEN and accomplish all our awesome dreams together, in style.

I look forward to living in extremely highly-placed houses for no reason, and being too lazy to push a button to do simple tasks. IN A FLYING CAR OKAY and I want lasers, like, three lasers on it.

And a hot tub in the driver's seat.

My husband says, "200X just seemed so far away back then!" Looking on the bright side, though, humankind should have met our doom at least half a dozen times in my lifetime alone, so there is clearly some compromise.

I suppose you're right, they say nobody will ever know exactly when the world will end, so if we keep guessing it'll never happen... right??

At least Crystalis got it wrong, I'd had to have missed out on, um... well whatever good stuff happened after this:



Right before Halloween would've been a bummer. Also, we'd have never been able to experience things like Twilight, and goatse! On second thought...

I summed up my Twilight experience so far on my most recent post, if you haven't already read it. Who would have wanted to miss out on something so very LOL?

Do yourself a favor and watch the movie, with Rifftrax, once you're done with the book. It will make all of your suffering worth it. Probably not, but it's some more LOL for you at least. Although you might, at that point, have the "the book was better than the movie" thought, which could be very worrying in this case.

O.O damn...you're right! They had said the flying cars were due by now....what the hell? =/ Then again a Super Mega Man Robot would've been good signs of improvement and moving towards the future...

..*ahem* So instead I'll toast to Pokemon. Maybe this decade we'll get to 594 :)

Let's just assume that by 2020 Pokémon will be real, because that would be awesome, and I want to fly a Charizard to work instead of driving. I'm setting myself up for another disappointment here, aren't I?
