Actually a wetsuit with the Embryon emblem on it would be pretty sweet
Some more POKON questions, courtesy of
decultures this time!
1. HOW'S LIFE? For some reason I always miss your journal entries when I update and this makes me sadface :'{
Well, it's nice to know you at least feel bad about it XD But I know how it can be, sometimes my entire friends list is different from one day to the next if people have been posting a lot!
Anyway, life's good! I'm looking forward to graduating sometime soon, and that will lead to... something. But day-to-day stuff is all fine. Looking forward to my birthday on the 21st and Christmas of course... I've got a lot of awesome stuff on my wishlist *_*
But really, no major complaints! The semester's almost over with, and along with it, my source of stress, so I'm feeling pretty darn good right now :D
2. You can only choose one, which video game is favorite of all time at this point right now?
I mentioned in my other pokan question set, Final Fantasy IV is my all-time favorite. But seriously, I can never pick just one! The thing is, while I might love FF4 to death, I can't really play it anymore because I played it to death in my younger years =( So I love it nostalgically, but it's not like it's the most playable game to me right now.
If I had to pick one game only to play from now until eternity? Probably something like SaGa 2 or Final Fantasy Tactics, something with huge replayability options so I wouldn't get SO burned out on it.
So, I have no real answer to this question, unfortunately xD My gaming life is complicated!
3. What's your favorite pass time aside from video games?
You know how most people have two or three different things they love doing? Yeah, not me XD; Video games seriously are the biggest one. Other than that, though, whenever I get the chance I love going to the beach (swimming, surfing, diving, that kind of stuff). Just wandering around in nature in general and traveling, especially road trips with my family, too. It's just that video games are such a good form of entertainment (and I have such a freaking huge backlog of them), I don't get much of a chance.
I also like watching some movies and TV shows, mostly unintentionally bad ones, but that'll be covered in question #5!
Oh, and listening to game music, of course!
4. Do you have any favorite books?
The eternal question: does manga count as books???
I actually don't read that much manga anyway, Death Note is I think the only series I've read fully. Other than that I don't read all that much, actually. For class I've had to read a lot of Spanish/Latin American literature and poetry and I actually like it quite a bit. I guess a lot of it is like "Shakespeare, but different!", but Spanish authors manage to make it more interesting by adding in more character deaths and sex. Seriously. Also there's Latin American emo poetry that's quite touching, actually.
I remember liking Lord of the Flies and Catcher in the Rye from high school, too!
5. What was the last show you remember watching?
I'll only count shows I actually like, rather than "random crap that was on TV that I wasn't even paying attention to because I was playing PSP/DS at the time", if you don't mind xD
It was an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000, my favorite show ever. I believe the movie they were watching was called "Untamed Youth" or something, anyway, it was really bad. So that means it was hilarious in the context of the show.
There was some girl who looked like Greg Brady, and a guy dating a woman who looked like she could've been his grandmother, and plenty of other wonderful things to make fun of.
... this probably doesn't make any sense if you haven't seen the show, but I was laughing and having a good time, so that's all that matters, right?
In other exciting news, I've been playing Phantasy Star III via Sega Genesis Collection for PSP and... yeah. It's not truly BAD but when you look at II and IV and realize that if history had played out differently we could've gotten ANOTHER AWESOME PS GAME LIKE THOSE it kind of feels disappointing in a time paradox kind of way. Also I had forgotten the sexy claw-wielding character in III is called "Mieu" so this doesn't really help things.
