I'm sure that they're a pain to carry around

It's interesting to note that some cultures use jars of spaghetti sauce as currency.

With only 15 days to live, I'd just eat that sauce and watch tv.

I would marry the sauce

and put a spaghetti-o in it for a ring

Hah hah hah! XD that is hillarious. When I started playing Animal Crossing I remember going "wtf" when I read the currency was "bells" cuz I was thinking ....well....bells literally.

..I know that was a brainfart, but well yeah...I had to think about it and figure maybe in the original it was just yens.

:D just a thought.

In Pokémon games it actually IS yen, instead of... poke... whatevers. Which makes it seem even more like it takes place in Japan, since the regions are all based on Japanese ones to begin with.

I just have to believe that RAGU sounds like an awesome form of money to a Japanese person. That, and I doubt they have such a product in their supermarkets.

Naturally. I think if I ever happen upon a treasure storeroom with a lot of money in it in this game, it'll be known officially as aisle two.

With my latest entry about this game, I've also covered the poo angle as well... sadly.
